SAFETY

At the heart of our commitment to safety lies our dedication to providing effective health and safety (H&S) training, coupled with the allocation of necessary resources to uphold a proactive H&S culture. We understand that investing in comprehensive training is key to ensuring that every member of our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to identify and mitigate risks effectively.

Our training regimen ensures that learning sessions are scheduled at regular intervals, either to meet regulatory requirements or to align with industry best practices aimed at preserving and enhancing skills and knowledge. We partner with esteemed third-party training providers, including the Petroleum Equipment Institute, OSHA, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Safety Unlimited, Franklin Fueling Systems, American Petroleum Institute, and others alike. Training acquired by our teams includes, but is not limited to:

  • OSHA 8-Hour Supervisory Training

  • FDOT Maintenance of Traffic (Temporary Traffic Control)

  • API WorkSafe Contractor Safety

  • Confined Space Entry (29 CFR 110.146)

  • Hazardous Waste/RCRA (40 CFR 265.30)

  • Fuel System Installation Safety

  • Excavation and Trenching Safety

Our commitment to promoting health, safety, and security measures is evident in our daily practices. Our team conducts thorough risk assessments, including the construction of project specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP) to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Importantly, we recognize that safety is not a one-time endeavor but a continuous process. As such, our teams are trained to conduct these analyses on a regular basis, ensuring that our jobsites remain safe and secure at all times.

Furthermore, we uphold a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing safety procedures and incident reports regularly. This proactive approach enables us to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary measures to further enhance safety across all aspects of our operations.
